Our Story Starts in 2011
In 2011, Bruno and Simona Imbriglia opened the doors of Sapori d’Italia at 1102 Cathcart Road, Glasgow, guided by a simple yet powerful vision: to share the authentic flavors of Italy with warmth, honesty, and heart.
What began as a small family-run restaurant quickly became a beloved local gem, a place where food was memory, and every guest felt like part of the Family.
A Move in 2016...
In 2016, the restaurant moved to 1019 Cathcart Road, continuing to grow as a beloved local destination.
With the joyful arrival of Francesco and Melissa, the family embraced a new chapter and chose to pause the business in 2021, dedicating time to nurture their growing family.
We Returned in 2025!
Now, in 2025, Sapori d’Italia returns to it`s original home at 1102 Cathcart Road, where everything began.

We live locally and this will now be our go to restaurant. We were a party of 6 celebrating my daughters birthday. Staff went above and beyond and were very attentive. Food was amazing and prices are very reasonable. Lovely atmosphere feeling cozy and homely. Great addition to the area.
